Agronomy Intern

We are hiring an intern focusing on agronomy for the Summer of 2025. It is a full time paid internship May thru September, we are flexible with start and end dates. The intern will help monitor growth and development of potatoes, corn, soybeans, and wheat. The candidate will gain experience and knowledge of agronomy, sales, and crop production.

 

Responsibilities:

• Routinely scout potato, corn, soybean, and wheat fields to identifying disease, weeds, and insects

• Gathering and recording field data in mobile app

• Communicating with agronomist to provide recommendations to growers

• Assist with test plots

• Tissue, crop, and soil sampling

• Assist Operations and Sales staff on special projects

• Operate Equipment (not mandatory but available if person wishes)

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience in agriculture

• Ability to learn quickly and understand new concepts

• Self-motivated

• Ability to work outside for extended periods of time

• Technology and organizational skills

• Valid Drivers license

• Must be able to operate an ATV

• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds

Full time or Part time positions would be available after an internship to the right candidate.
